Default Tachometer for a 00 DX..

I do not have a tach for my car. I don't know if DX came with one. What I am trying to figure out is if I get a gauge cluster that contains one... are all the sensors and proper wires in place? Will it be a easy swap out of the gauge cluster? I did a search on this forum but i came up with nothing. Any help is appreciative.

Yes, you can get an EX cluster which is plug and play. I did on my DX and I love it.

Wow what a great response... nice and quick to. You guys rock!!

Guess thats the first thing I can do to my vehicle. It sucks so bad to guess shift. You said you had a DX? What speeds do you shift at? LOL stupid question huh? I just got the vehicle and im not use to the engine noise and when im straining it too far. This would be good to know till I get the new cluster.

Easy swap out. You can use any 96-00 civic or even 94-00 Integra cluster. I also have a cluster from a 97 EX for sale if interested?

It is an auto, my daily driver. My wife has a 5-speed and we would shift by ear, just hear the engine and shift, never paid attention to the speed.

Damnit, the answer to this question needs to be a sticky. This question is asked everyday.

Dude I am sorry but searched and came back with nothing. I apologize if I asked a question that has been asked. But there is no reason to bash someone for asking a question. See the problem is when you search you don't know how a person typed something out. Wether or not they ask a question about a instrument panel or Gauge Cluster or speedometer gauge. I never said I had a answer to everything but damn man isn't trolling the forums and posting stupid **** like you against the forum rules?
