Default GT40 on 2.2L engine

I'm kicking around the idea of building a 2.2L+ non-VTEC engine which would not be SFWD/Turbostreet legal, but may be allowed to run up in Canada, though I would try and run Quick 16/whatever at NHRA/NDRA events. I tried doing some searching and came up with one graph of a GT40 on a H22. Does anybody else have any dyno graphs/information/experience with a GT40 on a 2.2L engine?

I understand if you don't want to go into specifics of your setup, but any help would be appreciated.

Full boost by 5200 rpms. w/ non divided manifold. In 2nd gear but the dyno doesnt really show, but let me tell you on the street in 2nd it was sick!!
Try a divided manifold and a divided housing combo,it should be very satisfying to you. Spool up times should be alot quicker!

Give up some more info about the motor you are wanting to run and I'm sure people can help you more. 2.2 non-VTEC can mean a lot of different things. For all we know you could be talking about a big stroke B with 210 cfm LS head with stock cam or you could be talking about an H or K with a roller setup and a 320-350cfm head....that's a little different

Both of those turbos have the same exhaust side. The 4094 can supply more air, which will make more power. That air has to come out of the motor. Going with a smaller exhaust housing on the 4094 than on the 4088 is completely backwards of how you should be looking at it.

I ran a GT4088R on my H22 and absolutely loved it. It spooled about 1500 rpm sooner than my bigger GT72. It made a tad over 600 hp and went 10.3-ish at around 143 mph. Car weighed about 2550 lb. Go with at least the 1.06 housing.

Why is that engine illegal for sfwd/turbostreet?

Correct, it would be an adapter plate setup.

Looking at it further, I might run a GT35R on stock internals for a while and work on building up another engine over time. Is the 35R offered with a divided housing?
