TL Hid problem

Default TL Hid problem

I got a set of Tl hids (legally), and im having problems getting them to work. I cut the the headlight wires and put clips on them and pluged them in to the box, turned on the lights but i got no light, anybody can help??????? Its a 94 eg

wires backwards ? or maybe in the wrong plug.. ie high beam not low beam

i tried both high beam and low beam wire, still got no light, is it possible its not getting enuff power??? am i missing anthing, i got the box, the wire that goes from the box to the bulb w/ the socket on it and the bulb.

the read someplace that hids use less power then normal bulbs.. i would try something like plugging it directly to the car battery.. should light up..

make a harness for the hids unless you want to burn up your engine wiring. I believe there should be a power and a ground for the hid. search for the harness in the archives

Unless the ballast and the ignitor are combined, you're missing a vital piece of the equation there, champ. There should be two boxes and a bulb for each side.
