Default HID FOG Light Flicker

I have a set of H3 3000k HID bulbs. SO After installing them the lights flicker as they turn on and one of them will turn off after like 2 seconds. Some times both of them turn off. I thought it was a ground problem so I checked the ground and grounded the bulbs separately. I'm still having the same problem. I have to turn the switch on and off in a continuous motion like 10 times until they both stay on. I don't want to burn out the bulbs. Any ideas of what kind of problem I have?

I cut the two ballast power wires and joined them together, and ran one power wire to the fuse box. Do I need to run the power separately?

It would be better for you to get the power directly from the battery with a relay harness.
And you need stronger wires to make it as well because HID needs larger current to start up.
The wire behind the fuse box won't allow such a high load and so you ballast won't get enough power to start up.

ok well how big of a wire should i use? so will any universal 4 prong relay work? Oh and last night I was washing my motor. After I was done I turned on my headlights, which are 9006 10000K and they turned on. I turned off my car for 2 minutes and when i turned it back on my passenger headlight would not turn on. it flickered. I swaped bulbs and its just that one size. Did my ballast go out?
