Turbo Accord owner introduction and car photos (56k... bad idea)
hey guys, my names marc, i live in atlanta but go to school at IU. ive had my 02 accord for about a year and a half now, and its been through a few stages, but, most recent being the turbo. so, heres some specs, photos and info on the car. its been dynod once, tuned pretty badly but has had a lot done to it since then and is being retuned and dynod next month.
so to start, the car was originally an auto, so the 5spd swap was done when i did the turbo, worked out pretty well, ive been through 1 xtd clutch and flywheel, lasted approximately 600 miles, and im currently just finnsihed breaking in a lovely clutch masters stage 3 and fidanza 9lbs flywheel.
well, ill let the pictures talk.
marc.

nice car
just belongs in either Appearance and Cosmetic (where people show off their cars) or in the Accord picture thread. The accord section is for technical help and questions, mostly.
like the car though! Digg it, Dugg.

haha my bad, im used to the freeforall on tuner-junction. anyway, i guess ill post a question then, at least make up for the mistake...
i just installed some ground control coilovers and they clunk in the rear, as i sort of expected, but the fronts, i left a part in the setup, i think its a dust cover of some sort, and it rubs against the inside of the spring, just enough to make a clunking noise when the spring rapidly compresses. anyone else have that issue?

i believe in the concept of being a sleeper.....all those extra junk you have added to your car looks ridiculous IMO, but if you like it then that's fine. If that is your DD then you must have a lot of retards eyeing you and messing with you, which would be quite annoying I would think. If you dropped it, got better looking rims, a regular type R lip, and subtract all the extra things like the eye lid, projector lights, gas cap thing, it would look very nice. Only think I'm feeling is the turbo setup. Props to that...
nice ride...id suggest dumping it more with another choice of wheels...it'll make a huge difference...otherwise the car looks good...
but if you like the way it is...keep it that way...
for the setup...

thanks for the replies guys. and thanks for the kidn words, i take a lot of pride in the car and my work, so i appreciate you guys liking it as much as i do!
and genome, i totally agree, sleeper cars are A+ in my book, but, i love carbon fiber, i love modified cars, so i decided to flaunt what i have and not try and hide it, and besides, i dont race at all, unless its on the track, so i have no need to hide anything from anyone.
and about getting pestered by people on the streets, so far since ive done the turbo work and the carbon fiber stuff, ive only been messed with by aan s class mercedes and some beamers... i dont mind that much

Sweet Accord. I love the CF and of course the engine work. You probably are really careful with that lip, thats why im thinking it's not that low on your GC coilovers? I'd get the skirts and rear to match it though. But either way its a sick accord - props!!
