i don't think anyone just retags them. years ago some were re-webbing but have not seen ads for that lately.
i've always used the latch-n-link and with having to toss them every two years for nasa and three for scca, will probably just keep doing that.
or were yours the FIA? 5 year ones?

The reason for the dated expiration is the deteriation of the webbing over time due to UV rays. The only way to test the webbing is with a stress test which would distroy it anyway.
The best you can hope for is to choose a manufacturer that will re-web their own belts. I doubt anyone will re-web/re-certify someone elses belts.
At least one manufacturer I know offeres a trade-in policy when buying new belts. http://www.safecraft.com/MrestNets.asp They aren't the cheapest, but I feel they are the best. Very popular with the Nextel Cup teams. They will do the first re-web for free in two years...

The new G-Force belts are awesome for the money. $120 for a brand new set of 5 point cam locks, and you dont have to worry about re-webbing, or re-tagging. Just buy a new set when they expire!

Just buy a new set, besides takata. I think there are nicer harnesses out there for less money.</TD></TR></TABLE>
im going to skip the flashy green and go with some black crow enterprises.
