Default car wont start after putting in a different bottom end

spun a bearing etc and messed up my bottom end in my d16y8 last week.....grabbed a used y7 bottom end and put my head etc on it and now the car wont start...it turns over like normal but is a no go, im getting fuel and spark and it sounds normal when trying to turn over just it wont run. I checked all my plugs and they look fine and grounds are all attatched also. Timing is set to tdc, when i try to crank the car over the oil light and cel light come on......any ideas?

nevermind got it running, i guess it helps if you plug in all the connections to the computer, lol....now my problem is the car has a surging idle......from 1000-2000rpm until it warms up then it stays steady at 1000.i havent driven it yet as i lost the rad cap and need to grab one tommorow.....any ideas?
