1990 Accord How u check the check engine light?
Need to know cuz it got the CEL and its overheating and changed the the thermostat and also runs real ruff and takes a few cranks to start.
at the top of the passenger side kick panel look for a BLUE 2 pin connector, if it has never been used it will be taped to the harness with BLUE tape

short the connect like in the pic in the above post and count the blinks of the check engine light
it blinks in a code
for example
codes 1 to 10 will blink 1 to 10 times
codes over 11 will blink long and short blinks
so a code 42 will have 4 long blinks followed by 2 short blinks.
hope that helps
