b18C Forged NOS?
Hey ppl
just a quick question about NOS!
Current Build is:
B18c Motor
Wiseco 12:5:1 forged Pistons
Eagle 89mm Crank
BC stage 4 Cams
Toda Springs and Retainers
Running Hondata s300
Running on 89 Octane
THats the current set up, i want to NOS it, i have a WET direct port kit, and will be running the nos threw my hondata as to when i want to use it etc... i also have a progrssive controller...that i may use
I will be doing the useuall colder spark plugs, retarding timing few degrees, but that all depends on what shot of NOS i run.
Im thinking of running 150 Jet of Nitrous (75 at the wheels)... i was wondering wether this wil be safe... i will prolly map this on the dyno and run it on about 12/5 A/f ratio...
But the mian thing is will i be safe? with that much compression already? i will prolly use some octae booster when using it too!
Look forward to replys thanks!

I used to run a dry 65 shot in my LS w/ stock internals. You have forged internals which means you can most likely run much higher than a 75 shot. Seeing as you're already at 12.5:1 compression, you're going to need to somehow raise your fuel octane and/or retard timing hugely when on spray. I think you should be running higher than 89 w/ 12.5 imho.
What kind of rods do you have? Anyways good luck you are on your way to a fast *** setup
