please help, 89 crx power will not come on when key is turned

please help, 89 crx power will not come on when key is turned

i just bought an 89 crx with a half done zc swap. when i put the key in the ignition and turn it nothing happens. i have a brand new battery connected and the guy i bought it from did say it has electical problems. what should i do or check?

are all you grounds good, check your fuse, and check for any loose wire under the dash

check grounds, fuses, and ignition column wiring.
I'd bet it was a ground.

Yeah after you check all the basics,you might want to try a diff ignition switch wiring harness.They go bad,trust me.You can still get them at a dealership new.

possibly the EFI relay. I just pulled mine and soldered it in about 30 minutes. the solder was cracked around some of the pins. it was easy.I would turn my key and nothing would happen now it starts right up.

yep...does your fuel pump prime? ...if not...start with the main relay..the manual comes in helpful with flowcharts..
