A bad battery terminal should affect everything, not just one circuit.
Another possibility is the main relay, depending on exactly what loses power. But since bad ignition switches are sorta common, check that first. Got a multi-meter?

Probably the switch is about the same on most Hondas. But I won't say wire colors because those are probably different for other years/models. First, get access to the back of the switch, where the wiring harness plugs into the electrical part of the ignition switch. You can probably put a meter probe in the back of that plug, so you can check without unplugging it.
There's one wire which provides power to the switch, it should be energized all the time. You'll see that by measuring +battery voltage when the switch is turned off. Red meter probe on that terminal, black on some nice metal ground.
Another wire becomes hot when you turn the key to 'accessory'. That one seems like it's not giving you trouble based on your first post.
Another wire becomes hot when you turn the key to 'ON'. This is the one you're worried about. Continue to check if it's energized, as you wiggle the key, or something. If it only screws up occassionally, you might have to figure out how to get a jumper wire in there. Then you can hook up the meter while driving, so you can watch for it to screw up.
The last wire is only hot while you hold the key at the 'start' position.
