That stands true for about 95% of all the R's being sold today. I've been hunting for quite some time, so I have some painfull first hand experience with this.

I think stock ones are worth paying more for.

True, but I wouldnt be able to sleep at night knowing that I paid 1k more than what the car was brand spankin new. The majority of the cars have roughly 15-20k miles, are stock, and are going for around $24k( this applies to the ones in california).

I just dont see how the car can be 2 years old and have 15k miles on it and people are asking for $1k more than what they actually paid for it. I understand they are a limited production vehicle, but that doesnt make them immune to depreciation.

KANJI: Who is just looking for an excuse to vent.

24k? That's a joke. Nobody will buy it.

Exactly what I said! Get this, I offered the guy a very modest price of 22k and he refused stating "I am not planning on selling it that for that low a price" .

Well, look what you are buying? The simplest example is the Mugen FG360 or the Spoon DC2/EK cluster. They are used and few years old but cost more than new. It's all about supply and demand my friend. This truth is painful but it's reality. Live with it. You should be glad you are not into muscle cars. You will hang yourself when you realized that you have to pay $30k for a nicely restored 63 Stingray or $50k for a 59 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible when they only cost $6k back then.

You think ITR is selling for a lot? Think again, there are thousands of 99-00 Si's that sell more than sticker price, even after 30k miles of usage.
