If I remember correctly the del sol "S" ran off of a D15 non-VTEC, I think it was the Si that ran the D16Z6. Though I could be wrong, don't really know a lot about del sols. So if it's the "S" and I am right than it's not VTEC - which means obviously that it's not wired up.

My answer is the same answer I always give. Why? I think that it's the answer to all Honda ECU mapping problems.

Chipped OBD-I P28 with a B16 basemap program FTW.

If needed run a conversion harness from OBD-IIB to OBD-I.

It'll hook right up.

Though you'll still need to wire in the VTEC as the wires for VTEC on a non-VTEC engine simply...aren't there...

A B16 from an SIR2 is already OBD1. No need to change. You are going to have to physically run new wires to 3 pins in your ECU. Let me try and find it for you real quick.
