Default springs and shocks, what else?

i am ordering tein stech springs and kyb gr2 shocks next week and am going to have them installed at a shop.

i was wondering what other parts you guys would recommend me to get. if i have it all done at once, then ill be paying overlapping labor and would be cheaper in the end.

im also on the edge about the beaks rear sway bar, $190, worth it?

ive been reading a lot of threads lately and most seem to have mixed opinions on certain parts so that is somewhat confusing.

so, here im looking for more opinions. im asking you guys who have "done it right" as i dont know what the most effective mods for the integra are.

this is my only car but a compromise of comfort and ride (such as polyurethane suspension bushings) are fine by me as im only 17.

as for budget, i dont really have one, but then again i dont like to pay more than i should. (just look at what i chose for springs/shocks)

any opinions appreciated.

that combo is fine, i ran tein s techs with tokico shocks on my TL. however, in highsight its worth it more to just get full coilovers IMO becuase shocks and springs seem like a quick fix to get the lowered look...if you want real handling for tracks go coilovers

car most likely wont be tracked. how is the feel between a good spring setup versus a good coilover setup?

I would consider replacing the rear lca bushings. Most of the time they are seized anyway and end up being torched or pressed out. So might as well knock that out the way.

Personally, when i did my suspension i also replaced quite a few bolts back there as well just because the car i bought came from an area with snow and salt. So i figures they will all be seized so just replace now to make my life easier down the road.

Also look into camber kits otherwise you'll get some nice tire wear prematurely.

Now you definetly do not have to replace all these. And i probably didn't do all these either, but I can't remember exactly what was replaced because it was over 2 years ago. But i would definetly go with the rear shock bolts, and rear lower control arm bushings and bolts.

should have stayed away from the gr-2's, tehy might have done ok with h tech's but probably not s techs. yah you will most likely have t replace at least the shock mount bushings, and i suggest you get a bigger sway bar, i will be selling a type r with endlinks and bsq kit soon

If the car has allways been a CA car you might not have any issues. My car has allways been a CA car and I have not replaced a single bolt due to rust or being seized. Even my LCA bolts cam right out. I have had just about ever bolt off the front and rear suspension and I have yet to replace a single one (unless you are supposed too)

You should definitely get a camber kit otherwise the inside of your tires is going to be nice and bald. OR you could buy the Nitto NeoGen tires, they are specially designed for cars with negative camber. Shocks and springs are fine for you, coilovers will allow you to play with the height more but you should be content. The shocks might be adjustable too though.

I only have front camber kit and my tires are great. I am probably dropped about 2 and a half to 3 inches too.

I'd say get an adjustable shocks, just because... they're adjustable if you ever want a stiffer ride, and they tend to hold up better when lowered. As for springs... I don't like the fact of staying at one height, and my new Ground Control Coilovers seem to be really nice. Super easy to adjust, lifetime warrenty on EVERYTHING, and they come with Eibach springs. Any paying a mechanic to do your work... ewww... Do you have a compressor? Buy an air gun, some good tools, do the work yourself. You'll have a more rewarding feeling after you're done, and you'll learn something. There's plenty of DIY articles out there, look it up, and do the work yourself.
