need help...running bad
Alright basiclly the situtation is: the idle is alternating from i have it now to about 800 and it goes to about 1700. It starts up it is now smoking white (oil) and continues to smoke while its running. It feels like it is bogging down but if i get on it it feels perfectly normal. i hooked a vaccum gauge up to it and it keeps jumping between 14-19 psi. My haynes book is leading me to believe either: rings, burnt valve, or worn valve guides. Now being that the motor has roughly 15,000 miles on it...how could this be? Is it a sensor that i am just ignorant to being i am not a honda guy or is it one of the big things mentioned? thanks for the help guys!

sometimes if your lucky its your valve seals. for some reason i did valve adjusment and changed all my valve seals and it stopped blowing out white smoke now all you see is dark/black smoke from tip of exhaust.
