Clutch Issues
I've been having some clutch problems in the recent past, and I'm hoping you can guide me to an answer before I invest anymore money.
I bought a master cylinder about two months ago, and everything was fine for a while. After about six weeks I noticed that when I would come up to a stop sign and downshift to first my clutch would engage thus stalling my engine.
At this time the clutch pedal was fully depressed, but I noticed that the travel on the pedal had reduced a good bit. Now, I'm pretty sure its not the throwout bearing or clutch. Could it be the slave cylinder that's worn out? Keep in mind this is an H22A in a 94 Civic EX. The M/C is under warranty, but I'm hoping its the slave, so I can assure myself I won't be blowing M/Cs out left and right.

Are you sure there are no leaks/air in the clutch lines and that you have fresh brake fluid in the lines as well...
If so, I would replace the slave cylinder, and inspect the master cylinder while you have the system open just to be sure all the seals are intact, and there are no fluid blockages.
Clean everything up with some fresh brake fluid too, just to be safe.

I would just flush it and clean it with whatever fluid you plan on filling the system with personally.
