Default nose mask

I was thinking of getting a nose mask for winter driving. I do a lot of highway driving during the winter and have noticed a few chips on my front and lower hood area.

would the half nose mask be worth it?

Do masks mess up the paint if kept on for awhile?
Thanks

If you keep the mask on the car for a while and neglect to take it off and clean under it, a bunch of excess debris will get stuck in between the paint and bra and end up scratching the expletive out of your paint. If you remember to maintain the bra properly you'll be happy with it.

Great alternative is the clear 3M nosemask... thread is on this same page

I don't have the money for the 3m, although it would be nice.

slick-

I had a nose mask for my old integra before which I left on for a long period, needless to say when I took it off I could clearly see a "tan line." The integra was red and the diff. was noticeable. Granted in was in the sun a lot which probably attributed to the "tan." And debris does get caught in between so make sure you take if off and clean it every so often. If you get it I would suggest not leaving it on for a long period, since you're only talking about the winter season you should be gtg.
