IRIDIUMS VS. PLATINUMS
are you wanting to put these plugs into your lawn mower or mack truck??

I know they try to boast about how iridium can give you HP. I doubt it's much. I purchased the Denso ones anticipating they would simply last a long time and maybe helping HP more than the stock copper ones.
I would think iridium would last longer because of the MP and hardness etc. There shouldn't be anything that has an affinity to pull the iridium off more than platinum.
Think they are worth purchasing, are they good as the data shows it? cause things don't always work in application as they do on paper..

well if it means anything when I switched from NGK Resistor plugs to the Iridium IX i noticed there was a noticale whine in the intake that wasnt there before this was back before I got the SRI and was on stock airbox
and if you want the best of both Bosch has these new Fusion plugs with Iridum and platinum at different parts, with 4 ground electrodes

do yourself a favor and just get some OEM NGKs if youre running a stock car....all that bull about irridium and Platinum is just hype....if you want a good conductor, get some gold plugs, its the best conductor. there is so little iridium in those things is not even worth it. and platinum...a joke also. platinum is actually one of the worst conductors. most japanese cars work best with OEM NGKs....my nissan did. i didnt run anything but NGKs in it and it ran fine.
I can't tell you how many times I've had to remove aftermarket plugs from cars and throw in the stock NGK's.. It doesn't matter if it's bone stock or not.. Remember, Honda designs some of the best mass production engines in the world, I wouldn't doubt their expertise..

The stock plugs are the platinums on my car, an '01 EX v6... You're crazy if you think I'm putting basic resistor copper plugs on my car... the coil pack would probably burn the ground electode right off after 3,000 miles.... and the plugs I'm talking about ARE NGK Iridium plugs.
well.... I guess I'll just go back to the platinums after these Iridiums kick the bucket... which probably won't be for another 60,000. Can't return them now. My main concern was whether or not they are a backward step from platinums.... I don't think they are worse.... are they?

LOL... i ran copper plugs when i stock, when i was spraying (2 steps colder) and still run the same 2 step colder coppers with boost along with just about every other boosted honda on this site. check the forced induction forum there are 600whp B series motors running ngk bkr7e COPPER plugs and the electrodes are fine.

most honda ignition systems can handle more power than what 75% of the people on this board (including myself) are making in their honda.....that goes for plugs too
just go with OEM plugs honda recomends. for an F22/23, that means NGK copper.
