Default MOR-20911 baffled oil pan to suit B18C5 - any reviews ?

As above -
I am looking at this or similar to replace my stock DC2 ITR oil sump.
I am not after extra oil but just the baffle plate for light track work.

Does anyone have experience with this piece ? IE what exactly needs to be modded ?

thanks ben

Moroso 20910 here. Needed to remove the bottom tranny shield thingy to make it fit. Either that or I hacked it up to fit. Or maybe I hacked it up and then gave up and left it off.

Seems to work well for road racing.

That is the larger version of what i intend to get...From what i can see its exactly the same except for the excess capacity.

How does it compare say , to a stock C5 sump with a baffle plate etc ? Any issues at all ? the Baffle plate appears to be held with screws in ?

thanks !

I am not sure why you just would not get Mungen one.

OEM fit, and it works, nothing more nothing less...

Not to say that those other ones are bad or something, but nothing beats OEM for avoiding issues down the road.

In my case Mugen one 4 yrs now, and it "works" if one can qunatify that...

Extra oil is priceless, so many benifits from an extra Qt or two.

i have the "standard" size pan, but the baffels are welded not bolted... and yes you must hack the tranny brace to make it fit. so if you dont need the drainback or oil temp options buy a mugen pan

Why don't you buy the Heel-Toe oil pan baffles for $20 and have them welded into your stock pan? Works perfect for me

I choose this or the larger style moros over the mugen ~ since the mugen is only a stock pan with a baffle. And $270 US without shipping....

Not all JDM is the be-all-end-all IMO. Im just researching my other options out there...
