Default GM Synchromesh with Chrysler Friction Modifier

awhile back i owned a Dodge Ram Pickup, and i also did a transmission drain & fill and remember using a friction modifier. It came in a tiny bottle.

i have been reading around the internet and found out, it's the same additive used in the GM synchromesh.

"Both automakers also use the NV1500 manual transmission, which also requires the Synchromesh fluid. However, the NV1500 transmission requires additional friction modifier to achieve proper performance and protection. General Motors part No.12377916 already has the friction modifier added. On the other hand, Dodge applications using the NV1500 require Chrysler part No.4874464, which does not have the additional friction modifier added. Therefore, an additional 0.2 pint (0.1 liter) of friction modifier must be added to Chrysler part No. 4874464. The friction modifier may be purchased at your local Dodge dealer"

gm synchromesh with friction modifier is pretty hard to find without waiting a few weeks, so that is why i am inquiring about this additive
has anyone tried this? any input would be appreciated, thx.

True but, through independant testing I've found the Royal purple sycnro max although does not have this vertain friction modifier supposedly does work better when mixed with a little Racing 21.

I've honestly found that if you use a little it works well. IMO I think that the GM sychromesh is little on the thin side so I normally mix it with a little something extra.
