How to Run Vacuum to the Brake Booster when usiung ITB's??
What is everyone doing. I just bought a Golden Eagle Vacuum box for all the other lines but can this runn the brake booster as well? How are the rest of you guys doing this?? Pics would be great.
Yes the large barb fitting is for the brake booster. Just plug and go. It makes enuf vacuum to work the booster with no problems.
Sort of different, but I run DCOE weber carbs on a TWM manifold and for brake booster vacuum I just tap off of the 2nd runner. I couldn't tell a difference using a Syncrometer when syncing my carbs--with or without the booster hose attached--so I don't think it was lowering vaccuum in that particular cylinder. I get plenty of vacuum from that one runner for the power brakes.
Sweet Ill post the set up that I am working on. The set up I bought has a vacuum chamber built for it but I dont know if I like it.

sorry had to take the pics at night so they didn't turn out great.
this is the golden eagle manifold but i mounted it upside down so it would look cleaner.
I used all six of the ports: 1 to map, 1 to black box for pcv, and 4 to each plenum.
brakes work great! and this is all on the car pictured in my avatar.
hope it helps good luck
