Well my stock 90 STD hatch hasnt been running well lately on completly cut off yesterday but started back up after about a minute and wouldnt rev past about 3k-3500 rpm (no tach) but once i got up to hwy speed and turned the car off then back on it would run normal.I checked the ecu when i got home and found 2 codes,8 and 16.Now what do i need to do about these and where exactly are they?


8) TDC (Top Dead Centre) Sensor -Defective circuit or unplugged/ Defective sensor

16) Fuel Injector System - Defective circuit or unplugged/ Defective fuel injector

 

1.inside the distributor.

2.one of the fuel injectors.


for the 1st one about 90% of the time that means you need a new distributor,,you can just replace the sensor inside but why bother? with how expensive that little sensor is, just get another working or brand new distributor

with the injector that shouldn't be to hard,there's only 2 of them .

 

So for 2. will i just need to replace the injector?
