Default Squeaky Clutch

Every time I push the clutch theres an awful squeaking sound that can be heard in my house if the car is in the garage. Does anyone know what this is or how i can possibly fix it? Thanks in advance.

mines does the same thing, you need a new clutch master cylinder, or you can put grease ont he rod that is connected to the pedal.

you need to find out where its comming from, i could be the slave cylinder rod that pusishes the clutch for, grease that ball on the end of the rod and it will go away! pretty common

is there really any harm that can come from a squeaky clutch? or is it just more of something that you can deal with?

If his clutch pedal bushing is that loud to where it can be heard in his house, holy ****! Wear some ear protection at all times while driving.

Mine does it to. It seems to come and go. Pretty sure mine is the slave cylinder.
Like said above, find out where it's coming from.
Best way to do this is have a buddy stick their head under the hood, honk once, wait for the profanities to subside, push clutch repeatedly and have your buddy listen to where its coming from. Then grease away or replace.

Mine has been squeaky for 40,000 miles and the clutch still works fine. It's a common problem so I've heard. Mine usually only does it on hot days, I don't notice it in the winter.

Grease up the ball and socket looking thing on your slave cylinder. If you pull the boot off you'll see what I'm talking about.
If it's more of a squeal your throwout bearing is on it's way out.
If greasing up the ball/socket thing doesn't do it, find a way to get some grease on the shaft that your clutch sits on. Get some grease down in there somhow. Make sure you don't get any on the clutch disc itself though or you'll be hating life.
