Squeaky clutch pedal, any ideas where to lube??
When you press the clutch in you can hear it squeak. Any one else had this problem and where did you lube to get rid of it?? Thanks
i had the same problem in my 90, it squeaked BAD, so i used some white lithium grease and it went totally away, for about a week. i lubed the actual shaft of the cylinder. next im gonna use some wheel bearing grease. we'll see how that works.
mine does the same exact thing. It squeeks just a little on the way in right? my car is only 5 years old. I lubed it with spray marine grease, on all moving parts and it went away... for about a month. now I ignore it. I love that car!
mine does the same thing cept's it comes and goes, it's coming from the throwout bearing or whatever ya call it. Anyway pull the boot and grease away.
All these are great ideas but if it will just come back anyways i guess i will just leave it lol, doesn't really bother me too much because i always have my stereo on but i was hoping there was a part i could replace to get it to go away permanently. Well i will try the throw out bearing level. where ever that is Lol
