tranny fluid sparkle, how does this look?
Brass isnt magnetic so the trans magnet and any other magnet wont pick that up. That looks to be syncro and also that doesnt look like tranny fluid, looks more like a watered down tomato paste. I would be very careful with that trans if your still driving on it.

Only if you have a special brass magnet.

If you have a couple extra bucks to throw around, scoop up one of those magnetic drain plugs. I think passwordjdm.com or jdmshit.com has them for a decent price.
Check it in a few thousand miles and see if you have any metal shavings attatched to it.
Trans fluid does look like there's a few little pieces floating around but it doesnt look like anything to worry too much about brotha.
Then again...my opinion on how it looks isnt the END ALL of all opinions. There's others on here that know WAY more than me about these types of things. See what Bense has to say about it. Now HIS answers will be the END ALL of opinions.
And PROPS to you for actually putting a title to the thread that makes sense. I'm so tired of seeing threads titled "HELP", or "LOOK", or "few probs". People go through all the trouble of making the thread, but makes it basically impossible to find by people in the future searching honda-tech for threads relating to your problem. You may have a thread with a GREAT question full of GREAT answers...and its lost forever because the title was ***.
/end rant.

looks like you went a long time before flushing the trans fluid.
Brass doesn't stick to the inhousing magnet. And that's why you see it when you've drained it. Synchro wear does/can occur in normal driving.
Basically, that fluid either was in the trans for way too long. Or it was abused.
I've drained trans fluid after 3k on a complete fresh trans rebuild and still seen brass.
