I know people in the drag forum have gone 10s with stock axles. My stock replacements lasted longer then my motor doing 8k launches on 24.5 slicks. Its all in the way you launch.

I dont think youll make enough torque with a B16 @ 350hp to take out a stage 1 clutch, unless you pop the clutch every gear. Any 6puck clutch should be able to hold.

Doesnt Hasport make decent aftermarket axles?

But for the price of most "performance" axles you're better off grabbing a few sets of OEM axles for that price...as long as you know to drive and preaload correctly you shouldnt have any problems with the stockies as they're more reliable than you may think.

Good luck! Let us know what you end up doing.

I'm gonna tell you a trick.

Buy autozone, napa, etc axles with lifetime warranty. When or if you break, take them back and make up a story, voila, new axles.

A little preload goes a long way

Domestic RWD cars use trans brakes. Think about that concept for 2-3 mins and you'll figure it out
