Default Gauge Cluster Cover

I am so pissed off right now. I finished installing my tach and everything and now I can't get my cluster cover on. The 2 screws in the back are not going anywhere. I don't know what the expletive is going on. I thought I could get away with the 2 other screws from underneath but it's too flimsy. How can I get those screws in? I am very frustrated right now. Thanks.

if you're using the same year hood as the cluster: 88-89 hood with 88-89 cluster/90-91 hood with 90-91 cluster, i don't see what your problem could be.

hood, cluster cover, bezel cover, whatever...they're all talking about the same thing.

um no the hood on the 90-91's is the piece on top of the cluster setup. so its not the same thing at all. same for the cluster cover.

you really need to have the screws in there.. unless you really care about it.. the two on the bottom will keep it in just fine.. i dont have anyin right now cuz im too lazy to screw them in.

Factory tach FTW. Well not really it's pretty useless for me since I max out the needle and so do alot of EFers.

Yes, make sure that the metal clips are in the back they are the only thing that the screws screw into. I lost mine and I just used a bit of double sided tape on the inside and it holds in just fine for now. I probably won't ever fix it cause well...it's just my daily and I don't see playing around so meh.
