Well, you can't afford a "K" right now, so you can get the B18, or keep saving. Be warned, "K" swaps are costly. $7k+

K's a much harder swap but, that's the motor I'd want.

judging from your "location" and the price of your type R swap you must be a thief or have stolen goods. Appearance is everything.

While I agree, a buddy of mine bought a perfectly legit broken car that had a good USDM B18C5 in it. Parents had given the owner an Audi and the command to get the car out of the driveway. He paid $2500 for the whole car. The car's a rust bucket but, the swap looks pretty good.

You could get the GSR motor and build it up and get a decent turbo system for almost the same price as buying a K20A now. I'd say wait if you want the K or get the GSR now and have fun. Either way you will have a good time.

K > B & H

As far as doing the swap: http://www.k20a.org

Read, read, read, read, and read some more.......

If you are limited to 4k, then go with a GSR. Still a fun swap to drive....just going to get owned by those with the K swaps

Go with the GSR, it's a direct drop in swap (opposed to K which needs some help), parts are cheaper, it's got a lower compression which makes it a better boost engine if you intend to boost it, and it's hella lot cheaper.

get a K24A2 (TSX motor)
great power, amazing torque, 6 speed
if you have to wait and save, do it... it will payoff in the end.
