Default F22 turbo - fuel injectors??

I am building an F22A to be boosted to around 10-15psi. I am wondering on fuel injectors. Anyone have any ideas??

Also I was wondering if I should upgrade the intake manifold or should the stock intake manifold work fine??

stock IM is fine.

injector size depends on your power goals.

you can get DSM 450cc injectors cheap.

I'm not really sure of my power goals yet. I'm looking at building this car to be able to somewhat daily drive and to road race at the track on weekends. I want to build the engine to be as strong as possible. I'm getting a valve train kit from KMS Engine development with stainless steel valves, dual rate springs, titanium retainers, and I'm sealing the deck with a block guard. I'm looking for pistons and rods and I'm not sure what I'm going with for them. I'm getting the head ported and polished, the crank ballenced and lightened, unorthodox racing crank pulley set, converting the steering from power to manual, AEM high volume fuel rail, OBX cam gear, not sure what to do for the cam shaft itself? Given all of that what do you think would be a reasonable power goal?

your turbo selection, bottom end and engine management will be the key factors to the power goals. you didn't mention what your plans on for any of those, so I really can't say what a reasonable power goal would be.

figuring pistons/rods around 8.5-9:1 compression, right size turbo, and a GOOD management system you could easily shoot for 350+ HP.

Since you're listing some big dollar parts I'd recommend just getting some big *** injectors so you have room to grow. that's what I did, I'm running 750cc RC's and have plenty of injector left for when I eventually get on a dyno and try to make some real power.

BTW I'd ditch the block guard. either sleeve the block or just run stock sleeves.

I would agree with the above statement to go bigger on the injectors than you think you will need... you can just compensate for them in the tune.

Make sure to run a quality fuel managment system like hondata or whatnot... and of course get it tuned by someone who knows what they are doing.

Thanks for the sugestions!! Do you know of any websites where I can look for a managment system? There aren't many performance shops around here so my choices are very limited! Also I'm having a hard time finding anyone who carries rods for an F22A, I found pistons from KMS engine development but they don't carrie rods for my engine! Thanks again!!

Also, I might be wrong but doesn't sealing the deck make the engine stronger?? That's what I have been told but I may have been mislead!

search in the forced induction forums for block guard (be sure you choose archived posts) and you'll see why not to run it.

check race engineering for bottom end parts. http://www.raceeng.com
