it must be really low. i dont have my coils all the way down, and i dont have a problem, but it depends on how much added camber you have to. what camber kit are you using?

Yeah, I think this is a pretty common problem. I made a couple small cuts on either side of the balljoint into the ridge of metal it was hitting, and then took a hammer and bent the metal out of the way.

I am pretty sure this clearance issue is why skunk2 hasnt made a front camber a-arm for the EF

cusco makes an arm similar to that. i believe its a copy of the vision arms. i doubt there is a solution to the ball joint hitting other than hammering it in. the only way to get positive camber is to either use civic lower control arms if you do a b series swap or make the upper arm longer/adjustable

revo technica? makes an adjustable upper control arm for the ef chassis. search and you should find a post within the last month about it. if i remember correctly, the vision and cusco arms only add negative camber, you need to adjust it to add more towards positive camber. no one as of yet has reported on how they work on their car but a couple have them mounted on their car.

here's the revo link. I think the Cusco and Vision add positive camber. If you lower the EF more than 2", you gain negative camber. Even for track racing I doubt you would want to add more negative camber. My car is about 3" lowered and has roughly 1.7 deg. of negative.
