Civic Upper Control Arms
I've recently had a problem with camber so I picked up a Skunk2 Camber kit.
Now, I don't know if the bushings in there are the same grade or not, but they are horrible. The UCA hits the top of my shock towers, and are now damaging them. Anybody have this same problem?
Do I have another option to go about correcting my camber? I'm scared if I buy another set of UCA I will just end up at the same problem.

Re: Civic Upper Control Arms (duggy)
depending on how much camber you need to adjust. you may be better off with sliding ball joints in the stock arms.
like the engalls ball joints.
But how many degrees are you off by with the stock arms?

i had skunk2 arms for awhile....before they bent and the joints died (they wanted $80/ea to replace them), they it the towers too.
I run SPC arms now, no issues at all and am very satisfied

My car is very low.
I'd say my front lip is about 1" off the ground.

Do the SPC arms slam against the top of the shock tower?

at that point, there is very little travel for the upper arm to swing up before it meets the shock tower, regardless of what type of upper arm you run. Stock arms may net you a few mm more travel...how much of the wheel is tucking? If you have a pic of the front wheel that'd help me visualize it. You can also visualize this by taking the wheel off and jacking up the lower arm and see just how much travel you have before you hit. Very low is not always a go.

he's right^
It doesnt take very long to replace the A-arm...so I would put a stock one back on, with some clay, to test clearance.
I know the skunk2 arms are large, but before you go spending a few hundred dollars, you might as well check to see what the stock arms do.
My car really isnt THAT low, so my arms not connecting with the towers may not mean everything

do you have any pics of the setup? what size wheel/tires are you running?
i agree with these guys, you should put the stock control arms back on and check for clearances and possibly going with the sliding ball joints.

you really need to raise the car up. right now it handles like ***, and it probably unsafe. raise it up to a reasonable level. if you want to slam it, put airbags on it.

I figured I was gonna get flamed for this one way or another.
I will probably end up putting the stock arms back on. I've learned my lesson.
When I had my EG, I had no problems with being so low.
