i'm fixing to put a b16 obd2a 97 in my eg hatch, the swap comes with the ecu and harness, which belongs to the engine. do i need a ecu conversion harness to obd1? i wanna run it the way it is, obd2, cause its okay here in tx. plus i dont wanna start buying some od1 stuff, like dizzy or what ever else it needs to convert to obd1.

p.s. sorry kinda new to the whole engine wiring thing

 

well its not okay here in tx, cause emmissions won't pass, but there's always diff ways to get new tags.
