B18 SWAP INTO 98 CIVIC
i need help i was wondering if i put a 89 ls motor into my 98 civic coupe wat i would need to put in like wat kinda motor mounts and wat kinda harness can u use if u know can yall help me out here thanks

an 89 ls motor is obd0, and the 98 civic is obd2 so alot of wiring would be needed, b series into ek mounts will do the trick, less wiring is involved if you update to a 96+ ls distributor. if you want the swap to be legal the motor should be of the same year or newer than the vehicle though, so your swap would not be legal in all states

that won't an upgrade at all. they're both 1.6 and slow. look into something that's 96+.
