Default so i guess i was wrong...

okai so i took the car to the shop today, i found out it , that there was play between my axles and my tranny..??..??.. im so confused. so does that mean, i need a new tranny?.. ..or is this fixable without tranny.

soo to refresh your guys memory, i was the one who posted about my car having a nasty vibration on my passenger side.

Theres nothing bewteen the axles and tranny....now if you ment bewteen the tranny and wheel, then the obvious answer is the axle. Why didnt the shop tell you what was up? It could be the diff....and normally there is "some" play in the drivetrain. Chances are its the axle(s) though.

yess your right, thats what i meant to say. theres play in the the drivetrain. and the mechanic did say it had to do withmy axles.

My GF DB had the same problem about 2 weeks ago, I replaced the axle with a new one, and the noise went away for awhile. But then the noise returned...So I took it to the shop, they replaced the axle again, but this time they shaved into the axle, and believe it or not...that $hit worked like a charm! I'd never would've thought of that...
