about to buy jdm d15b, need advice
Theres a guy selling a jdm d15b longblock without dist and intake manifold. i have a 92 civic dx, and i know a z6 dist will fit on the d15b, but will the b7 dist work on it? he also said the motor mount got loose somehow and caused the bolt to grind on the tooth of the timing belt, but he said the motor still runs fine. is there anything i should look for? should i do a compression test or anything? thanks for the help!

It won't hold a compression if the valves are bent.
So do a compression check.
Aside from that I'd just change the timing belt when you get it - better safe than sorry.
