this may be silly but i need to know

i need to know wether or not an obd2 gsr engine harness will mate up cleanly to a y8

Depends on the year because one year is 2 piece and another year is 1 piece. you need the one piece.

all 94+ integra harnesses are 2 piece, while 96-00 civic is 1.
