Default left highbeam

my driver side highbeams for some reason don't seem to work, I replaced the bulb and it still didn't go on, I replaced the whole headlight and still doesn't go on but when i hook up same headlight to the other side it works fine. So then I thought it was the plug that goes into the headlight so i cut it off and spliced a new plug in and still no luck. Also on the cluster the headlight highbeam light doesn't display not that I care but maybe its a clue to where my problem is.

did i miss a wire somewhere or a did a fuse blow? not sure what to be looking for.

im not sure if there would be a fuse just for the left side. i had a galant with the same problem and just learned to deal with it cuase i hate electrical problems.but check ur fuses and then u'll want to trace the ciruit becuse tis proly grounding out some where. just use one of those electrical testers, the ones with the little light bulb and two leads. there like $0.99
