Help! My B18c feels like its hitting Rev Limiter @ 5,000rpms?
Like the title says, it only does it when i'm revving, but not when i'm driving.
It started a couple weeks back, I was trying to do a 2nd gear burnout to warm up my slicks, but everytime i rev up to around 5000rpms it feels like i'm hitting a rev limiter
, but i can still rev it pass 5000rpms. It only does it when i rev, but when i'm actually driving its fine. I just recently ran some honda top end cleaner through the motor and did a valve adjustment. I have no clue as to whats causing it to do this. I'll try to post a video later today.
Motor specs:
JDM B18c
skunk2 stg 1 cams
sk2 cam gears
sk2 intake manifold
dc headers
ITR throttle body
LK tuning chipped p28

i dont think its the clutch, cause it does it even when i'm not in gear. i.e when i just sit there and rev to 5000+rpms.
