Default 95 vx questions

I have a 95 vx hatch...right now it has a header on it and an ebay intake...its rockin some tokico shocks with skunk2 coilovers...okay now to my question is there any other kind of mod i can to do the engine(aka rebuild internals etc..), also would it just be better to do a swap? Maybe a z6 swap, but im not too sure, but yea any suggestions on mods you can think of to this economy motor would be greatly appreciated

save and swap.

The VX engine is really good for just saving gas. 40mpg in the city ftw.

Yes indeed its a great gas saver. Swapped out my vx motor for a d15b. But if you really want to get power out of it I suggest you head to this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1825161

If you are really looking for power.

Buy a d16 block with high miles for cheap.

Tear it apart and learn a few things.

Rebuild it with stong internals and then add a turbo.

$2500 later you might be happy with your $1000 dollar shell and have a vx motor around in the event everything goes terribly wrong.

Yeah don't waste money on a VX motor.

I have a 92 vx and it was slow. Although 1st and 2nd gear did pull pretty good.

Boost it and swap the tranny for an Si/Ex one. Great little cars, with a good motor to boot.
