Default Seized but I can wrench it into working again?

My buddies 89 CRX just had the engine rebuilt but he didn't want to change the oil for 6k and he learned to drive stick again in it, needless to say, it seized. However i shot some mystery oil down the spark plug holes and I can crank it fairly easily. Is their any permanent damage or should I fire it back up with some good syntethic.

if it truely seized it shouldnt have just freed up like that i dont think. i may be wrong but.. give er a compression and leakdown test. if it comes out well, try starting it. thats what i would do. and what is this mystery oil you speak of?
