Default ball joint

anyone know the easiest was to drop a lower ball joint on the front knuckle on a eg chassis?

What do you mean drop? Seperate from the LCA? Or remove from the spindle?

To seperate from LCA, use the big hammer technique. Or search for methods.

i mean to seprate from the lca? the 17 mmm nut and locking pin removed. i have pried on the bitch but its not working which areas have the best leverage?

Use a big hammer hit the lower control arm around where the ball joint goes through do not hit the end of the ball joint. It might take you a few hits just work around until the joint pops free

a giant hammer also works great for me as well. dont expletive up the threads on the balljoint

because you never hit the ball joint, you're going to hit the control arm where it meets the ball joint.

ok so a 4 inch 3 position puller works much better than whacking anything.

mmm...i wouldn't really know, but the store has a set with different sizes. just match up the size you need and get to work.
