CV joint
i think is the joint or shaft the one with the steering wheel...alrite i did a search on this but they didnt post really on hondas...so how do i know if my CV joint or shaft is bad...when i turn my wheel to the right this is a click sound and my steering wheel shakes on the freeway....so can you guys help out...cause im not sure what it might be.
Clicking is a sign of bad outer joint. Shaking under acceleration is a sign of bad inner joint. How bad is the freeway shaking? If it's just a tiny bit, you probably just need your wheels balanced. If it's shaking about 1" in each direction, you're got a bad axle. As far as clicking, the louder it is, the worse the axle is. At a certain point, it'll just give out completely and you'll need a tow truck to get it anywhere
i have two good axles...had a bad one and got it replaced...since i got my new rims they've been doing it...got them balanced twice already...so wats the outter joint problem and the inner joint problems...parts for instance..thanks
