well i got a 94 hatch in white (si) which i am very proud to have but the problem is its comming close to 230k miles now... how long can i keep telling insurance this damn thing is never modified... dont think they are that stupid

i have a swaped gsr in it with stock ecu but forged block

what are my choices is there a way i can get this thing to pass through an inspection station since i have been paying for stickers

also what is the reprocussions of a rebuilt title if i can get this to pass and what do i have to do... thanks

 

If they ask, just tell them the old engine blew and you swapped in a used replacement junkyard engine. The same, stock engine of course My buddy has a 99 corolla w/ 360K on the body(all highway). He blew it at 340k and put in a junkyard engine. When it came around time to give mileage to the ins. company they questioned him and he just told them that. It worked for him so I don't see why it won't work for you.

 

My insurance company said I don't have to tell them about any modifications I make, and look where I am now :D
