Default B20 Build

I am planning on building a 2 liter vtec monster. I was going to buy a b20b block and add je pistons eagle rod and crank etc. I want to know if i get my b18c1 block bored out to 85mm would it basically be a 2liter vtec without the b20 vtec conversion?

Hell yes! But your aluminium pistons won't like making contact with the now all aluminium cylinder wall (seeing as how you have bored away all the steel from the sleeve). It'll probably suffer catastrophic failure the instant you crank it on the starter. Wanna go 85 mm. on a GSR block? Sleeve it! And for your regular LS/VTEC build, skip the Eagle crank (run the stock LS/B20 one), ARP rod bolts are a given with the stock rods, or upgrade to the semi-heavy Eagle rods for peace of mind.
