hey guys i have a d16y8 with i/h/e cam gear, pulleys, lightened flywheel and a vafc, and im looking to buy a skunk 2 intake manifold and was wondering if it is worth the money and if there is a noticable gain, thanks

 

not worth the money on your setup.. stick with the y8

 

it made my vtec louder...so far thats about all i can tell.

but im sure it did something to hp...might be up...might be down... who knows

mine was on another car i bought tho...so i threw it on.

 

it's def worth the money, but if you are going to put on a intake like the skunk2, a b series throttlebody bored out to say 65mm would be best.

the next step would be a nice camshaft, or boost/nos

thanks for the input guys ill just keep the stock y8 IM ill save the money n put it towards other parts
