Ok so i have 91 crx si i wonded to know if i could but in a d16y8 using the same tranny from the crx would i need to change the flywill and the clutch from the stock crx engine and what harness would i use and what computer

You can use the same tranny including all components but with motor out why not change them a new clutch and flywheel wont hurt will it. as in wiring use the harness that is on the car now u rarely use motor harness allways use the one that is on the car but since the motor is a y8 it is OBD2 and you have a OBD0 CAR is going to be a nightmare wiring up so i would suggest getting a D16Z6 and conversion harness and p28 ecu and go OBD1 thats the best and if there is more mods on the way and tuning is in line OBD1 is the way to go but you can make the motor OBD0 but that taking shortcuts im going on to much so in one line. SEARCH for anwsers you will fine easy.
