Does anyone use a lightweight crank pulley? If so, does it feel any different than stock? What brand do you have? Is this a bad item to get? I have a D16 soon to b turbo t3/t04e.

IF you run a b16/18 u can use a CTR pully but it is not balenced the stock ls motor is pully balanced and a ctr is crank balanced.

Wrong^^ do not post if you have no idea what your talking about
Anyways a lightweight pulley is somewhat like a lightweight flywheel, it will allow your engine to rev quicker. If you are going turbo i wouldnt even worry about it.

Yeah what the hell does that even mean? Not balanced? Please refrain from speaking. All the CTR pulley is, is a pulley made of chromoly steel with the absence of PS slot and A/C slot. And it weighs like 5lbs less which is a huge deal since it's a rotating mass.

Your going to say they ruin oil pumps and main bearings because they don't have a dampener aren't you?
Well
on you. lol It hasn't actually been proven and for as many light weight undampend pulleys that are being run out there the very few people that have broke an oil pump or spun a main can't be directly related to the pulley. Failures are bound to happen when there are so many motors out there and just because there were a couple failures with lightend undampend pulleys on them doesn't mean the pulley is to blame. maybe the motor was ready to go, maybe it was build error, maybe it was owner neglect. If there was a problem honda wouldn't have undampend pulleys on thier ctr.
just my 2 cents.

Awesome guys thanks for the info. I found a UR one on there site. Says it weights about 1 lb. How much do they weight stock? It may not help very much but it may just give me that lil bit of power/faster rev I need for my oponnet
