Be careful, I tried a oil cooler kit like this on a H22 and could not get the proper oil pressure. Luckily I did not have to drive it. However, when I ran the motor, the oil light was on. Someone told me that V-TEC HOndas do not work well with these things. The one I tried was a B&M. It had a cooler and a relocator. In the instructions, it said if you had low oil pressure to reverse the lines to the cooler unit, when I did that , it got worse. Maybe others have had better luck but I would not do it.

do you really think due to the extra oil travel the pressure will go down even if you have precision -an fittings perfectly snugged on the lines and such?? is that what youre getting at??

The oil pressure drop is not due to just the cooler, it's due mostly to the plumbing use. You can't use small tubing without greatly restricting flow. We use -10AN on most stuff, and sometimes even -12AN. I use -12AN on my car, personally. It's overkill, but it ensures that I lose very little oil pressure (2 to 3 PSI).

That kit uses -10 lines, so you'd probably be okay. I'm not fond of using such cheap equipment on such a vital engine component (oil!), but to each their own.

well since there is pretty much no other method for cooling oil other than the oem oil cooler and using full synthetics i guess we're pretty much stuck in the mud or is there something else im missing??...
