this serves as sort of an update for those that chimed in before. i competed today for the first time on my 225/50/15 VR's w/ 15x7 K-1's (in case you dont remember). the results were great! i took 1st place in NV3 out of about 12 cars. i will know my overall(pax) score in a few days. big news is: NO RUBBING!!!!! you guys have seen my car, pretty much SLAMMED. ran like normal, with koni's set on full stiff. well, no rubbing what-so-ever. not even at full lock. i must say that i am one happy camper!

what tires were you using previously, and how do you like the VRs, I will soon be done with my first set of azenis, and already have another set waiting to be mounted, but will be getting some Rrrs after that.
btw what is NV3, only thing I can think of is novice.

 

previously i used ecsta 712's. 205/55/15's. i absolutley LOVE the VR's. if you have the chance, get em! i picked these up used for about $200 and will get the rest of the year plus some of next years events on em. ( i mean autocross year, not calendar ) NV3 stands for novice 3. novice 3 is for all novices that run in any SP class and a few stock classes. i have to move up to FSP OPEN now because i will be getting the 2nd place trophey for the spring series. its like a year or a trophey that makes you move up. whichever comes first. took me 4 events to move on up.

Congrats, man. It's nice to see another accord representing at autox. I have my work cut out for me in Street Mod, but i can still place well most of the time. R compounds are great!!

 

well okay i was a little hasty, i placed 2nd in nv3. only in pax though. in raw time i won by 2 seconds. i did place first out of SP cars in nv3. i also got the exact pax score that the first place runner in fsp-open got. i cant wait till next month.
