white smoke coming out of the exhaust?

did you fill the radiator last time and run it then bleed the air out and add more water/coolant as needed?

So you're saying that you replaced the radiator, after this your car over heated, and when you checked the coolant level it was empty but you don't see any leaks. It could possibly be your head gasket.

I would also have the radiator pressure tested, maybe cooling system is building too much pressure. Do you have the correct radiator cap on it.

head gasket leak is not always visible it could be leaking into the cylinder, which would probably cause a wierd smell out the exhaust.

One time, my radiator cap didn't hold enogh pressure and the thermostate didn't open, so the lower hose from the radiator was still cold after driving 10-15 miles.

My friend had a over heating problem in his B16 because the thermostate didn't open also. We replace it and it still did the same thing so we decided not to put one and it went away.

replace the rad cap. after months of my car overheating and replacing the thermo, draining and flushing the radiator i bought a mugen rad cap and that fixed it. end of story. and you will smell coolant if you stand behind your car with it running if you have a bad headgasket.
